Dreamhack has released a press release recently that includes a list of games for its upcoming Dreamhack Summer and Heroes of Newerth has been brought in to replace DotA.

In a recent press release and newsletter by Dreamhack, the game list for the their upcoming LAN event, Dreamhack Summer 2010 is out and it appears that the organizers has forsaken DotA after what they did to Warcraft 3 last winter.

Although no reasons were given for this move by Dreamhack, but it could be highly possible that the organizers felt that the game is losing its steam and popularity in Europe over the past few months.

In the place of DotA is the new game released by S2 Games, Heroes of Newerth that is said to be the duplicate of DotA on a standalone engine. Although the prize allocation has not been announced, the total prize pool for all four games below will mount up to 250,000 SEK (~24,407 Euros).
